Thrust Roller Bearings

Thrust roller bearing is a kind of high quality rolling bearing which only bears axial load. However, cam roller bearings have high axial rigidity and is suitable for heavy loads. THB, a roller thrust bearing manufacturer, provides several types of thrust roller bearings.

Thrust Roller Bearing Application

Cylindrical roller bearings are commonly used in automotive, marine and aerospace applications. Sometimes it is also used for the main rotor and tail rotor blade clamps of RC (radio control) helicopters.

Thrust Roller Bearing Types

Thrust roller bearings are used in a variety of applications where high running accuracy and precision, low noise, high load-carrying capacity, low stiffness and light weight are important.

Thrust bearings are divided into thrust ball bearings and thrust roller bearings. Thrust ball bearings are divided into one-way thrust ball bearings, two-way thrust ball bearings and angular contact thrust ball bearings. Thrust roller bearings are divided into thrust cylindrical roller bearings, thrust spherical roller bearings, thrust tapered roller bearings and thrust needle roller bearings.

The Installation and Maintenance of Thrust Roller Bearing

The assembly method of thrust roller bearing: because thrust roller bearing is a high-precision product, improper assembly can easily cause damage to the thrust roller bearing raceway, resulting in damage to the thrust roller bearing. Thrust roller bearings should have special molds when assembling them, and they cannot be knocked at will. When they are pressed into the shaft, only small circles can be forced, and when pressed into the seat hole, only large circles can be forced. Air pressure or hydraulic pressure is required for assembly, and the upper and lower molds should be outside the horizontal state during press-fitting. If there is an inclination, the thrust roller bearing channel will be damaged due to the force, which will cause the thrust roller bearing to produce noise.

Prevention of paint rust: paint rust mostly occurs in sealed motors. The sound of the motor is very good during assembly, but after some time in the warehouse, the abnormal noise of the motor becomes very large. After removing the thrust roller bearing, there is severe rust. In the past, many manufacturers thought it was the problem of thrust roller bearings. After our continuous publicity, the motor factory has realized that the problem is mainly due to the insulating paint. This problem is mainly because the acidic substance volatilized from the insulating paint forms corrosive substances at a certain temperature and humidity, which corrodes the thrust roller bearing groove and causes the thrust roller bearing to be damaged. The problem can only be solved by choosing a good insulating paint, and ventilating for a period of time after drying and assembly.
