Duplex Steel material Ball Screw

Duplex steel is a type of stainless steel that contains a combination of austenitic and ferritic microstructures.

This raw material can be used for reciprocating ball screw in some special application.

It is characterized by its high strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent toughness which achieve good ball screw performance.

The two-phase microstructure of duplex steel provides a unique combination of properties that make it suitable for a wide range of applications in various industries, including chemical processing, oil and gas, and marine engineering.

Duplex steel is also known for its resistance to stress corrosion cracking, which is a common problem in many other types of stainless steel.

It is often used in applications where high strength and corrosion resistance are required, such as in offshore oil and gas platforms, chemical processing plants, and desalination plants.
